!BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
After many internal discussions, we have decided to not run for the Nürburgring taxi license.
Why? As great and prestigious the taxi program is, catering it to the masses of “random” tourists was taking away lots of our precious time that we otherwise would love to spend with our most important customers: you. You guys who have been following us and interacting with us through all the platforms. People that we know by name, by your social media nickname and call you friends.
The slow traffic of last year allowed us to enjoy sharing the love for the Nürburgring a lot more and see our priorities in it.
The cars are still going to be here. The cars still will be running as a taxi on selected number of track days which allows faster pace over TF. And we may even go to other race tracks outside the Nürburgring what we have been doing in 2017 already. Zolder, Spa, Zandvoort and when the time is right even outside of Europe! In short, the “core” of our customers will only benefit from it.
For the customers who have a taxi ride pre-booked with us: you’ll receive an email from us in the coming days with all the options to accommodate you!
And for the new followers: the taxi license only regulates the _taxi_ rides during _Touristenfahrten_.
We will still be offering taxi rides on track days. The ways of offering other services such as rental cars, hotel, instructions, media services and more remain unaffected!
